The program can last from 6 months to 1 year depending on the industry and needs of each company participating in the program and includes the following steps:

1. Nomination, Invitation and Evaluation

Participants of the 1773 ITU Teknopark Incubation Program are selected among companies that have been awarded the right to be included in the technopark by giving R&D projects, and companies that comply with the definition of incubation initiative, and companies that have successfully completed the 1773 ITU Teknopark Pre-incubation Program. Apart from these two alternatives, it is not possible to be a candidate for the incubation program. However, 1773 ITU Teknopark may specifically invite high-potential startups it has identified in the entrepreneurship ecosystem to apply for the incubation program.

It is recommended that companies wishing to participate in the program either be successful by participating in the pre-incubation program or apply for a project to 1773 ITU Teknopark.

At the beginning of the program, companies matching the above definition are invited to the program after a preliminary review with their information in the system. Initiatives that accept the invitation will present their business ideas and business plans to the program selection committee in a 5-minute presentation and go through an evaluation process.

The evaluation process will be based on the market potential and scalability factors of the startups. Among companies in similar situations, the priority to be selected for the program will be given to companies with higher market potential and scalability, as well as companies that have done more product testing and market activity with target customers in the field.

2. Personalized Entrepreneurship Training

The incubation program will provide entrepreneurship training to help entrepreneurs acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to develop their business ideas and build their business models. The training will cover topics such as finance, marketing, strategy, leadership and management skills. For this purpose, the founders of the companies in the program that will participate in the program will be subjected to a needs analysis, and then a training plan and grouping will be made according to the needs. Entrepreneurs will be offered a range of PERSONALIZED training ONLY in the field they need. Educational content on the general content of the subjects and on the same profile will NOT be offered to everyone.

3. Mentoring

Throughout the program, entrepreneurs will be assigned an experienced mentor who is confirmed to have no conflicts of interest, taking into account their needs. Mentors will help entrepreneurs develop their business ideas, optimize their business models and grow.

4. Access to Resources

Entrepreneurs will have access to resources such as common office space, technology infrastructure, legal and accounting consultancy services, as well as their own offices, if any, throughout the program. In addition, it will take place in public relations activities aiming to be more involved in the press according to the wishes of the entrepreneurs, and efforts will be made to ensure that they are heard as news in the national press.

5. Demo Day

At the end of the 1773 ITU Teknopark Incubation Program, entrepreneurs will present their business ideas at a CLOSED Demo Day, where prominent investors known to invest in their verticals will be invited. At this event, entrepreneurs can connect with their potential investors. Successful initiatives in the program will also be announced to the public on the 1773 ITU Teknopark website.
