How can you transfer to another technopark while you have an ongoing project at a different technopark?
While their projects are ongoing at one technopark, companies may apply to another technopark with a different project, successfully complete the evaluation process, and operate there by demonstrating that they meet the required conditions. Under the applicable legislation, the same project cannot be carried out simultaneously in two different technoparks.
During this process, the company must register the opening of a new branch at the new address with the Trade Registry and notify the relevant Tax Office and Social Security Institution (SGK) Directorate of its new address.
If a company applies to a new technopark with an ongoing project that is currently being carried out in another Technology Development Zone, it must submit a “Project Termination Form” to the managing company of its current technopark before commencing operations at the new technopark.
Following the termination of the project at the current technopark, the project is approved in the new Technology Development Zone where the company has been accepted. The company may then commence its operations at the new technopark upon issuance of an official activity letter.
During this process, the company must register its change of address with the Trade Registry and notify the relevant Tax Office and Social Security Institution (SGK) Directorate of the change.
