We attended the 13th Technology Development Districts Coordination Meeting hosted by Trakya Teknopark. In this important event, we evaluated our enterpreneurship ecosystem and processes with the executives of Technology development zones from all around Turkiye.

Introduction of our Entrepreneurship ecosystem:

In the meeting, we thoroughly introduced our innovative solutions as 1773 İTÜ Teknopark and our entrepreneurship ecosystem. We have informed attendants on:

• Innovation Centers: Advanced innovation and technology centers we provide for entrepreneurs and the opportunities offered to them.
• Mentorships and Education Programs: Mentorship and Education Programs that help our entrepreneurs to develop their talents and skills.

Evaluations of our progress:

               Throughout the meeting, we mutually evaluated our progress with the executives of other technology development zones. These evaluations

• R&D and Innovation Operations: Research and Development activities carried out in Teknoparks and the effectiveness of innovation projects.
• University-Industry Collaborations: How the collaborations between universities and the industry could be improved, as well as the benefits of these collaborations to the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
• Sustainable Development Strategies: The importance of social responsibility projects and how these projects are put into practice in Teknoparks.

Prospective Strategies:

               Important steps were taken to increase collaborations between Technology Development Zones and develop joint projects. Our prospective strategies include:

• Joint Projects: Development of joint projects between Technology Development Zones and the materialization of these projects.
• Regular Communication: Increasing communication between Technology Development Zones and ensuring it is constant.
• International Collaborations: Encouraging global collaborations and involvement from Technology Development Zones.
